This is a quick smooat variation that is perfect for the summer season. It is creamy, sweet and packed with power for the day :).

You can’t get enough from melons in the summer?

In my case, I really can’t, as melons, especially water melons are my favorite summer fruits of all time. And the best, I found an easy and delicous way of taking spoonfuls of melon already for breakfast with all the great taste in it.

You mainly need three ingredients:

  • melon: what ever type you prefer. I use water melon (my favorite fruit) or the Mallorcan Meló de Sapo thatkind of like honey melon.
  • banana
  • oats

As the fruits are already sweet enough, there is no need to add extra sweetener! Pure is best here.

To cheer up your breakfast bowl a little, add a topping of your choice. With the watermelon sm0oats I really like frozen berries or figs on top with sunflower seeds. So yummy!! And with the honey melon smooats I prepfer hemp seeds and dried mulberries or fresh blueberries. You see, there are lots of options to experiment 🙂

If you are in the mood for a little more funky variation, just add 1 tablespoon of maca powder and desiccated coconut:

If you are curious about some more smooats: try my aryuveda-feelgood smooats, vibrant-vitamin smooats.
